Student Support

access & Participation

Italia Conti is committed to ensuring that everyone has access to world-class conservatoire-style training regardless of age, ethnic origin, disability, sex, gender, religion, sexual orientation or socio-economic status.

Outreach and Student Engagement

We will visit schools or colleges who offer Level 2 and 3 performing arts courses to offer a free workshop to pupils looking to train in the Performing Arts. The workshop will provide a taster for of the style of training they will receive at Italia Conti.

We offer three workshops:

  • Musical Theatre (which will include Acting, Singing and Dance)
  • Acting
  • Dance

We are also able to deliver multiple workshops to cater to centres that have a number of pathways or courses running across Performing Arts.

The workshops include a course introduction and Q&A session, in which one of our tutors will talk about Italia Conti, our courses, and what it is like to attend full time Performing Arts training. There will also be an opportunity for the tutor to answer any questions which participants may have.

We are keen to support under-represented student groups in accessing full time performing arts training and are particularly keen to work with youth groups, schools, colleges and performing arts institutions that are able to collaborate with us on improving access and participation to the arts.

To book a free workshop and to discuss your requirements, or to find out more about our regional auditions please contact Ann Richards at

Regional Auditions

We offer a number of regional auditions, and combined auditions with other FDS (Federation of Drama Schools) members at a considerably reduced rate to help give everyone the chance to audition and train at Italia Conti. Italia Conti is also working together with Impact Dance, Artistry Youth Dance and SK Dance School of Performing Arts to provide opportunities for their students to audition.

Italia Conti are keen to explore opportunities to hold regional and accessible auditions for our courses. For more information, please contact
