What we do

Acting

Acting in the early stages is based on fun and expression to build a pupil’s confidence and how to express themselves. This then develops into discovering improvisation, script learning, acting for camera and public speaking. Acting allows a pupil to release innermost emotions and explore their own feelings along with the characters they are playing.

RAD Ballet

Ballet is a truly wonderful dance genre and is grounded on strength, strong discipline and artistry. It requires a strong technique and work ethic and the desire to achieve the beauty and grace of the skill.

Musical Theatre

Musical Theatre is the ultimate ‘triple-threat’ skill as it encompasses Singing, Dancing and Acting. It forms the basis of our performance classes and is the main area of entertainment in both the West End and world-wide theatres. In class, pupils are encouraged to use their own personality and performance skills to live out and enjoy the characters and numbers.

Singing

Group ensemble singing classes with exciting and varied repertoire from Musical Theatre, Pop and Rock. As confidence and ability grow in our safe, friendly and supportive classes, students will enjoy the opportunity to sing solo if they desire.

Contemporary

This a dance genre with strong routes in ballet. It originated in America and is now a firm favorite of our students of all ages. Contemporary dances often tell a story and use emotions and feelings to portray their meaning. Strength, technique and flexibility are vital in this genre.

ISTD Tap

Tap is a highly energetic and uplifting dance form centered on having and learning, good rhythm, intuitive timing, flexibility all linked with a variety of steps and styles.

Individual Singing

This offers a student the chance to work 1-1 with their singing teacher to hone and improve their voice.

Street

A class and dance form which is high energy and exciting. Up-to-the-minute dance music is often used to accompany the class and many different skills are learnt including:

  • Hip-Hop
