No audition is required as we wish to encourage participation in the arts for all abilities. Our students are taught and cared for by experienced, trained, DBS-checked staff.
Jazmine began her training at Italia Conti Guildford Associates School at age 3, progressing to the Italia Conti Professional Course, where she excelled in dance, acting, and singing.
She earned A Levels in Performing Arts and Dance, along with dual BA/BSc (Hons) degrees in Business and Psychology.
Since 2011, Jazmine has built a successful career in the property industry, rising to a managerial role. Her passion and expertise for travel has led her to launch a successful business, JazVentures, an Independent Travel Agency.
A professionally trained dancer with ZooNation UK Dance Company, Jazmine has performed in the West End and worked in TV and film.
With over a decade of teaching experience, her energetic approach will inspire young performers at Italia Conti Associates Petersfield.
Jordana began her training at the Italia Conti Guildford Associates School at age 5 and later graduated from the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in 2011.
She enjoyed a successful career as a professional dancer and singer, performing on cruise ships and in various productions.
Jordana furthered her education with a BA (Hons) in Theatre from the Guildford School of Acting.
In addition to her artistic career, Jordana gained experience in office management, which she now applies as a Co-Principal at Italia Conti Associates Petersfield.
She also runs Sweaty Mama, a successful fitness business offering classes for mothers and their children, combining exercise with family bonding. Through Sweaty Mama, Jordana supports women in achieving their fitness goals while building a strong community.
Depending on age and ability, classes may cover improvisation, role-playing, character and script work, voice and various techniques as appropriate. Students benefit from working on scripts from selected plays leading up to performances.
These classes give students opportunities to work as solo performers, developing physical and vocal skills together with acting techniques.
Musical Theatre is a combination of acting, singing and dancing.
Students learn well-known songs/scenes from musicals and the songs are then staged into musical theatre numbers. Teachers encourage pupils to develop and use their personalities in this class.
This class trains the ballet muscles in a way that will increase their muscle memory for better use in dance class.
The class contains a mixture of ballet movements while developing coordination and stability, balance and alignment, as well as optimising one’s flexibility.
We offer classes from 6-18 years.
Body conditioning aims to improve technique and overall presence during the performance.
Pocket Performer’s classes focus on storytelling through movement, dance and singing.
Pocket Performers Ballet helps the little ones with flexibility, balance and basic moves to prepare them for primary ballet. They will also learn basic steps and rhythms to prepare them for Primary Tap.
A fun class for little performers in the making. All these classes are a fantastic way to have fun, make friends and build confidence.
The Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) Tap syllabuses are offered at Italia Conti Associates Petersfield School.
We offer classes from Preliminary (age 5+) to Advanced depending on ability.
Examinations are offered to pupils who meet the required standard.
The students here will study all aspects of singing, including breathing, support, group singing, solo singing, pop, rock and musical theatre.
Not only is singing hugely enjoyable, but it’s an essential tool to help build self-confidence.
Commercial Street/Jazz has changed today’s outlook, fast becoming the new commercial style popular amongst our students.
Pupils will learn a mixture of sharp and fluid movements, popping & locking, similar to hip hop, and animated expression as seen in music videos, in a laid-back environment.
Boost your self-esteem, gain confidence, and develop rhythm and co-ordination with exciting choreography.
In our Contemporary dance classes, you will learn to move in a creative, freeing and graceful way, while also transforming your posture and balance and improving your fitness.
Our Contemporary class builds up from simple steps and techniques to fully formed routines. It’s a fully supportive environment, and suitable for people with little or no dance experience.
LAMDA aims to improve standards in communication through spoken work, support the creative and social development of an individual and much more. Our students will get the chance to try their hand at Public Speaking, Mime, Acting, Verse and Prose, Musical Theatre, Reading for Performance etc.
The examinations are designed to enrich our students with a range of skills within the acting industry. LAMDA courses are QCA accredited and for Solo/duo examinations at Grades 6,7 & 8 are included in the UCAS tariff, counting as points towards university entrance.
Private dance lessons are great because the focus is solely on you. Once your teacher has identified what your goals are, he/she will teach you the material that will be most appropriate for your needs.
Your teacher will have a lot more time to work with you individually which will lead to faster progress.
