Conti Camp 2025 was an absolute showstopper! Held at our exciting training space from June 12th, the four-day camp welcomed children aged 5-13 for a packed schedule of creativity, movement, and confidence-building activities. With seven sessions a day and a wide range of disciplines covered, our Conti Campers were immersed in everything from stage combat to stand-up comedy. Three Age Groups, One Big Experience To ensure everyone got the most out of their time, children were split into three age groups: 5-7, 8-9, and 10-13. Each group followed a timetable of 45-minute sessions, structured throughout the day with two in the morning, a short break, two more before lunch, followed by three in the afternoon. For working or busy parents, we also offered early drop-off and late pick-up slots, with relaxed activities like colouring and movies to help students wake up or settle down. A Taste of Performing Arts At Conti Camp, students explored the dynamic world of the performing arts, gaining experience in a mix of performance skills. From Broadway Jazz and ensemble singing to clowning around and aerial arts, each day offered something new and exciting. Here’s a full range of the sessions we had on offer: Clowning workshop Broadway Jazz Ensemble singing Musical theatre Improv games Scene study Tricks Circus skills (ground-based) Commercial dance Stage combat Ballet Solo and duet singing Aerial Radio room Stand-up comedy Tap Acting for the camera Animal studies Hip hop dance When we spoke to the students at the end of Conti Camp, aerial, tap, circus, and musical theatre came out on top as some of the favourites. Jazz, hip hop, singing and improv were also high on the list! Children could dip their toes into both stage and screen subjects, enjoying everything from improv to animal studies, ensuring there was something for everyone regardless of interests or previous experience. Positive Feedback Across the Board The feedback from students and families was incredibly encouraging, and something we’re especially proud of. A huge 62% of students rated Conti Camp as excellent, with the remaining 38% rating it as very good, giving it 100% positive feedback. Every family survey said they would recommend Conti Camp to others, with 90% expressing interest in returning for another edition. So, we’ll be ensuring we have plenty of spaces both in the summer holidays and half-terms for those who’d like to join us again. More Than Just a Camp Although the camp wasn’t designed to track long-term progress, especially as some students attended just for one day, it was clear that confidence blossomed in all participants. The mix of structured classes and open play encouraged independence, imagination, and teamwork, which is what we love to see. Conti Camp isn’t just about building skills; it’s about building confidence, friendship, and joy.
