About Our Acting Courses

For undergraduate students, we offer two BA Hons Acting courses.

• BA Hons Acting: Our BA Hons Acting course is three years of comprehensive training for those who want to work on the stage, TV or in audio. Students build a strong foundation in acting, preparing them to perform in a range of settings and styles
• BA Hons Musical Theatre: Our BA Hons Musical Theatre course covers much the same as our acting course, but with the addition of singing and dancing training, for students who want to perform in front of a live audience.

For postgraduate students, we offer several MA courses that enable students to specialise in certain areas of the performing arts industry. These courses are the perfect follow-on from our undergraduate acting courses.

• MA Creative Arts Education: This is aimed at teachers/teaching artists, educators, facilitators and industry professionals working within performing arts education and training.
• MA Creative Arts Practice: This course is for performers, directors, writers and producers who want to deepen their professional expertise.
• MA Teaching and Coaching, The Speaking Voice: This course prepares students to teach voice skills classes and coach performance in a conservatoire/industry setting.
• MA Teaching and Coaching, Actor’s Movement: This course prepares attendees to teach movement to actors and to work as a movement coach in the industry.
