Our Acting BA course combines intensive vocal and physical training, as well as techniques for character creation, helping students build an exhaustive toolkit that will support them after graduation.
Our Acting BA course is a three-year, full-time vocational course for students aged 18 and over, who want to become professional actors. Our course involves a variety of stage, screen and audio training, in both live and recorded settings. The course is validated by the University of Chichester, and as with all uni courses, full government funding is available through student finance, for home students.
Our courses are competitive and so we do have some entry requirements. You can see a general guide to these requirements below:
Applying to our Acting BA involves an audition. After you’ve completed the application process, you’ll be invited to submit an audition tape.
In this audition tape, you should aim to demonstrate a variety of skills, including monologues, a creative task, voice exercises and a brief chat with the camera, telling us more about you.
Since 1911, we have been one of the leading Performing Arts institutes in the country. Our vocational and conservatoire-style training is celebrated worldwide, and we have trained some of the best performers in the industry.
At Italia Conti, we believe in the unique talent of every one of our students. We encourage and empower our students to celebrate their individuality, helping them find and perfect new techniques and styles.
We also focus heavily on life after graduation, preparing our students to be versatile and valuable members of the industry.
Our core values guide us in everything we do.
Life after graduation is a key focus of all our courses, including our Acting BA course. We prepare our acting students to thrive across the stage, screen and audio. Some of our past students have appeared on Netflix, Amazon Prime, BBC, ITV and Disney, as well as in the West End and Broadway.
Throughout our Acting BA course, we arrange regular showcases, performances and networking events, helping current students transition into the industry. To find out more about this course, or to apply, visit the course page.
