Attendees develop strong skills in voice, movement, text and character, whilst also exploring ensemble work, devising and screen training. Our training is rooted in major methodologies from leading drama practitioners, combined with modern approaches to storytelling and performance.
During this course, you’ll take part in public productions, collaborate with others on original work, and be guided by a teaching team made up of experienced professionals, practitioners, directors and actors. The course also prepares students for the real world of acting, with plenty of direction in terms of professional development, audition technique, self-taping, CV building, and industry networking.
For students who want a strong foundation in acting but the ability to cross over into musical theatre, we offer a Musical Theatre pathway for our BA Hons Acting course. This unique course keeps acting at the main core, whilst also integrating regular training in singing, movement, and musical theatre performance. It’s ideal for students who want to graduate with the vocal and physical versatility to work across musicals and plays as well as traditional acting.
As with our main BA Hons Acting degree, this programme prepares students for the industry through public performance, professional practice training and expert mentorship throughout.
