About Us
Italia Conti has always recognised that the industry demands excellent standards of training in all areas. Our aim has always been to develop courses that fulfil these goals.
Italia Conti’s reputation is renowned throughout the world, and demand for the training it offers resulted in the opening of part-time Associate Schools across the country.
No audition is required, as we wish to encourage participation in the arts for all abilities.
Classes are offered to students between 3 and 18 years. Whether it is for recreation, physical and social development, or as a serious step towards a long-term career in the performing arts, the emphasis is always on enjoyment and first-class training.

Timetable
Termly Fees
- Class Fees
- 30-minute class: £50 per term
- 1-hour class: £100 per term
- All Day Fee
- Between £420 and £500 depending on start time.
What We Do
Acting
Creative classes developing self-confidence, communication skills, and performance technique through stage and screen craft.
Students work with contemporary and classical texts, devising, improvisation, camera work, and physical theatre.
LAMDA
LAMDA examinations encourage students to develop a love of literature, poetry, and drama whilst improving spoken communication skills and confidence.
Examinations are available at the appropriate level for all students.
Ballet
Ballet classes develop posture, discipline, flexibility, strength, and technique to support all dance forms.
ISTD Ballet examination classes are offered.
Musical Theatre
Students combine dancing, singing, and acting to create exciting and believable triple-threat performances inspired by the West End, Broadway, and film.
Singing
Group ensemble singing classes featuring repertoire from Musical Theatre, Pop, and Rock.
Students are encouraged to develop confidence and enjoy opportunities for solo singing within a supportive environment.
Tap
Tap classes develop rhythm, timing, theatricality, technique, and stagecraft across a variety of styles.
ISTD Tap examination classes are available
Modern
A rhythmic and theatrical dance style rooted in Musical Theatre, featuring travelling steps, kicks, leaps, and turns requiring strength and flexibility.
ISTD Modern examination classes are offered.
Street / Commercial
Classes cover Hip Hop, House, Locking, Breaking, and Popping.
Students develop agility, strength, coordination, and performance skills through innovative coaching.
Contemporary / Lyrical
Angie Radford
Principal
Angie began her performing arts career at an early age after training full-time at theatre school.
Her professional credits include:
- Lead role in Barnados in the West End
- Lead singer in Scream and Dream Again
- Class K at Manchester Royal Exchange
- Principal Girl in multiple pantomimes
Television and film credits include:
- Bach
- Stars of the Roller Skate Disco
- The Bill
- The Godsend
Angie runs the school alongside her mother Carole Collins and daughters Poppy and Tilly.
Carole originally trained as an ice skater and toured internationally before later working as PA to producer Ross Taylor, assisting with productions including The King and I and The Sound of Music.
Both Poppy and Tilly trained full-time at Italia Conti.
Tilly is also an accomplished DJ with television credits including Billy Elliot in the West End.

Entry Requirements
Age Range
For students aged 3 to 18 years.
Classes take place on Saturdays throughout the day.
Entry
No audition is required for our classes, as we wish to encourage participation in the arts for all abilities. We offer a free trial session before you commit to enrolling. This can be arranged by emailing: associatesruislip@italiaconti.co.uk

Additional Information
Many of our students progress onto our full-time, professional training courses, and the Associate classes are the ideal stepping stone for this.
We can put forward exceptional students for representation by the Italia Conti Agency, which finds work for young people in the performing arts. The Agency has placed many young performers in professional roles across West End theatre, film, television, and commercials.
