About Us
Italia Conti has always recognised that the industry demands excellent standards of training in all areas. Our aim has always been to develop courses that fulfil these goals.
Italia Conti’s reputation is renowned throughout the world, and demand for the training led to the opening of part-time Associate Schools across the country.
No audition is required, as we wish to encourage participation in the arts for all abilities.
Classes are offered to students between 6 and 18 years, with some classes available for students aged 3 to 5 years at selected locations.
Whether it is for recreation, physical and social development, or as a serious step towards a long-term career in the performing arts, the emphasis is always on enjoyment and first-class training.
Our Associate School in Rugby delivers excellent Saturday morning classes in Musical Theatre, Dance, Acting, and Singing.
Classes take place on Saturdays from 9am to 1pm.
Termly Fees
- Weekly fees are £34 per week, equivalent to £8.50 per hour.
- Fees are payable via monthly Direct Debit across the academic year, interest free.
What We Do
Acting
Fun and engaging lessons which grow self-confidence in our students whilst exploring different performance techniques and theatrical styles. Modern and classical scripts, devising, improvisation and physical theatre are among the exciting topics taught by our inspiring tutors.
Dance
Classes that teach the core fundamentals of dance technique through a variety of genres including ballet, jazz, contemporary and commercial.
Our classes develop musicality, stamina, flexibility and strength while encouraging the work ethic, dedication and motivation to become better dancers.
Musical Theatre
Working on the combined elements of dancing, singing and acting to create exciting and believable, ‘triple threat’ performances. Our tutors will work with the students on age appropriate, relevant and varied numbers from the world of Musical Theatre.
Singing
Group singing classes with exciting and varied repertoires from Musical Theatre and Pop. As confidence and ability grow in our safe, friendly and supportive classes, students will enjoy the opportunity to sing solo if they desire and no pressure is applied if they don’t.
Nicky Main
Principal
Nicky has been actively involved in the Warwickshire theatre community for over 15 years and has a Master’s Degree in Theatre from Guildford School of Acting/Surrey University. She is a LAMDA examiner and teacher and acts and directs with many local theatre companies.
Italia Conti is an industry leader in performing arts tuition and Nicky is incredibly excited to offer this world-renowned standard of training in the area.
The Rugby Associate School is one of the best performing arts schools in the UK, where pupils can develop their passion in a fun, safe, and supportive environment.

Entry Requirements
Age Range
For students aged 6 to 18 years, with some classes available for students aged 3 to 5 years.

Uniform
Students are required to wear the Italia Conti Associate uniform consisting of:
- Italia Conti Associates t-shirt
- Black bottoms or leggings
- Suitable footwear
Additional Information
Many of our students progress onto our full-time, professional training courses, and the Associate classes are the ideal stepping stone for this.
