Located in Dubai Hills Estate, our Dance Company course is designed for students aged 8 to 18 who aspire to professional careers and top-performing arts universities, including Italia Conti itself.
The Dance Company course is audition-only and reserved for those demonstrating the highest potential. It offers a professional level of training comparable to a full-time performing arts school, but structured so students can continue their academic studies alongside.
Students are grouped by age and skill level:
- Junior (8-10 years)
- Upper Junior Pro’s (11-13 years)
- Advanced Pro’s (14-18 years)
Class sizes are intentionally kept small to focus on each student’s technical growth and personal development. Our expert instructors cultivate performance skills, style, and strong technique, while also emphasising qualities like discipline, respect, and professionalism. These values shape students into well-rounded performers who stand out in auditions and careers worldwide.
Audition and Entry
Entry to the Dance Company requires a successful audition. Prospective students submit two contrasting dance videos, each no longer than one minute, showcasing their versatility. Following this, an in-person assessment at the studios evaluates ballet technique and a choice of commercial, contemporary, or theatre jazz styles to demonstrate musicality and technical ability.
Successful candidates join the course at the level best suited to their skills and aspirations, beginning a journey that could lead to performance opportunities, further study, and careers in dance and the performing arts.
