Our Acting (Musical Theatre) Summer School places character, text and storytelling at the heart of performance. Through acting, singing and movement, you’ll explore how a character’s thoughts, feelings and intentions carry from spoken scenes into song.

This intensive week introduces young performers to acting-led musical theatre training. You’ll develop your acting skills alongside your singing and physical expression, learning to make confident, considered choices in rehearsal and performance.

“

I have found that my first term at Italia Conti has been better than I could’ve imagined. I am working with driven, passionate, likeminded people within all different realms of the performing arts industry. The course is very tailored to each individual, broad enough to apply to everyone but specific enough to challenge each person.
