International and EU Applicants
At present, Italia Conti is unable to accept applications for on-campus courses from international or EU students, as we cannot assist with obtaining a Student Permission study visa.
To understand whether you may still be eligible to apply, please review the information on Home status below.
Can I Apply to Italia Conti?
You may be able to apply to Italia Conti if one of the following applies to you:
You meet the criteria for Home status
You are applying for our 6-month Short Courses for International Students
You are applying for our online courses including BA Professional Arts Practice (Top-Up), MA Creative Arts Practice, MA Creative Arts Education, MA Creative Arts Leadership
If neither applies, we are unfortunately unable to accept your application at this time.
International Students - Distance Learning
International applicants are able to apply for the BA (Hons) Professional Arts Practice (Top-Up), MA Creative Arts Practice, MA Creative Arts Education, MA Creative Arts Leadership.
This course is delivered entirely online through distance learning. It does not require residency in the UK or physical attendance on campus and therefore does not require a Student Permission study visa.
Home Status Explained
You may qualify as a Home student if one or more of the following applies to you.
You May Qualify for Home Status If:
- You are a British or Irish national and have lived in the UK, Republic of Ireland, Isle of Man or Channel Islands for three full years immediately before the first day of your course
- You have settled or pre-settled status under the UK's EU, EEA or Swiss Settlement Schemes
- You hold Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR), Indefinite Leave to Enter (ILE), or Right of Abode and have lived in the UK, Republic of Ireland, Isle of Man or Channel Islands for three full years immediately before the first day of your course
- You have been granted refugee status or humanitarian protection in the UK
- You live in the UK and are the spouse, civil partner, or child of a British national, and have lived in the UK for three full years immediately before the first day of your course
- You are a British national, or the child or spouse of a British national, and have lived in a British Overseas Territory for three full years immediately before the first day of your course
- You have been living legally in the UK for an extended period, usually half of your life
- You are the child of a Turkish worker, and you and your parent have been living in the UK since before 31 December 2020
You May Also Qualify If:
- You have been living outside the UK because you, or your parent, spouse, or legal guardian, is temporarily employed abroad
- You usually live outside the UK but maintain ongoing connections and residency in the UK
You Are Unlikely to Qualify If:
- The main purpose of your residency in the relevant area has been to receive full-time education, such as attending a boarding school or university
International Fees and Funding
International or EU students with the relevant eligible documents may not be eligible for Student Finance if they have not lived in the UK for three years prior to the start of their course.

I think my favourite thing about Conti is how welcoming it's been, for sure. Coming from San Diego, with my parents not being here, it's been great to have made incredible friends and the teachers have been so supportive.
