About Us

Italia Conti Associates Petersfield are rated 5 stars and are finalists for the Club Hub Awards, making us one of the UK’s most prestigious performing arts schools.

We offer classes in Musical Theatre, Singing, Street, Commercial, Tap, Contemporary, Ballet, Acting, and LAMDA.

Our classes are available for students aged 3 to 18 years and take place on Saturdays.

Italia Conti’s reputation is renowned worldwide and has always recognised that the industry demands excellent training standards in all areas. Our aim has always been to develop courses that fulfil these goals.

No audition is required, as we wish to encourage participation in the arts for all abilities.

Whether it is for recreation, physical and social development, or as a serious step towards a long-term career in the performing arts, the emphasis is always on enjoyment and first-class training.

Our students are taught and cared for by experienced, trained, DBS-checked staff.

What We Do

Depending on age and ability, classes may cover improvisation, role play, character and script work, vocal technique, and performance skills.

Students develop physical and vocal performance techniques whilst working on scripts and productions.

A combination of acting, singing, and dancing through songs and scenes from well-known musicals.

Students are encouraged to develop confidence, creativity, and performance skills.

Classes designed to strengthen ballet technique and improve muscle memory, coordination, balance, alignment, flexibility, and stability.

Available for students aged 6 to 18 years.

Classes for students aged 3 to 5 years focusing on storytelling through movement, dance, and singing.

Sessions support flexibility, balance, and basic technique development to prepare students for Primary Ballet and Tap.

ISTD Tap syllabuses available from Preliminary level through to Advanced, depending on ability.

Examinations are offered to students who meet the required standard.

Students study breathing, vocal support, group singing, solo singing, Pop, Rock, and Musical Theatre repertoire.

Classes are designed to develop confidence and vocal technique.

Students learn commercial dance styles inspired by music videos, including popping, locking, Hip Hop influences, and expressive performance.

Classes develop rhythm, coordination, self-esteem, and confidence.

Students learn to move in a creative and expressive way whilst developing posture, balance, flexibility, and fitness.

Suitable for students with little or no previous dance experience.

LAMDA classes support communication skills, spoken performance, creativity, and confidence.

Students explore Public Speaking, Mime, Acting, Verse and Prose, Musical Theatre, and Reading for Performance.

Grades 6, 7, and 8 are included within the UCAS tariff.

One-to-one lessons tailored to the individual student’s goals and development needs, helping students progress more quickly.

Jazmine Peterson

Co-Principal

Jazmine began training at Italia Conti Guildford Associates School at the age of 3 before progressing onto the Italia Conti Professional Course.

She excelled in dance, acting, and singing whilst also achieving A Levels in Performing Arts and Dance alongside dual BA/BSc (Hons) degrees in Business and Psychology.

Since 2011, Jazmine has built a successful career within the property industry, progressing into management, whilst also launching her own travel business, JazVentures.

A professionally trained dancer with ZooNation UK Dance Company, Jazmine has performed in the West End and worked across television and film.

With more than a decade of teaching experience, her energetic approach continues to inspire young performers at Italia Conti Petersfield.

Jordana Traviss

Co-Principal

Jordana began training at Italia Conti Guildford Associates School at the age of 5 before graduating from the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in 2011.

She enjoyed a successful career as a professional dancer and singer, performing on cruise ships and in a range of productions.

Jordana later completed a BA (Hons) in Theatre at the Guildford School of Acting.

Alongside her role as Co-Principal at Italia Conti Petersfield, she also runs Sweaty Mama, a fitness business offering classes for mothers and their children.

Teaching Team

Charlotte trained at The Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts from the age of 12, progressing through to the student programme and graduating with a Diploma in Theatre Arts.

She has more than seven years of experience teaching dance, drama, and singing, alongside professional performing arts industry experience.

Beverley has danced since the age of 5 and trained at D&B Academy of Performing Arts.

Professional credits include Disneyland Paris as a Disney character performer.

Dylan graduated from the University of Chichester with First-Class Honours in BA Musical Theatre Performance and has extensive experience with the Estill Voice Model.

Professional credits include Fiddler on the Roof, Our House, and West End concert performances alongside cast members from Les Miserables, Hamilton, and Back to the Future The Musical.

Rebekah trained at Rochelle Ballet School & PA and The London Ballet Academy.

She is a qualified SEND/SEMH teaching assistant specialising in the performing arts and has appeared in productions including Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Coppelia, High School Musical, Titanic The Musical, Grease, and Cinderella.

Phoebe is currently training at Italia Conti Theatre School on the BA (Hons) Musical Theatre degree course, where she was awarded a 100% talent scholarship.

She has more than 15 years of training across multiple genres and has achieved distinctions in all vocational examinations.

    All fees are based on a 10-week term.

    Full term fees must be paid on or before the first day of term.

    In the event of withdrawal, half a term's written notice is required or the equivalent fee will be payable in lieu.
