About Us

Our Associate School in Battersea (formerly Clapham) offers a wide range of classes, providing students with the opportunity to receive a full and thorough training and learn a wide range of performance skills.

Our part-time Associate classes are offered to pupils between 3 and 18 years. Whether it is for recreation, physical and social development, or as a serious step towards a long-term career, the emphasis is always on enjoyment and first-class training.

Our timetable allows students to choose as many classes as they wish to study and select from a variety of subjects. This allows them to develop their skills at their own pace, exploring their passion in a fun, supportive environment. Many students from our performing arts schools even return to teach at our Associate Schools later in life.

Italia Conti Associates is dedicated to providing a safe and secure environment for all pupils. Our safeguarding policy is available to all students and staff.

Italia Conti Associates is run by the Principals, whose roles are to supervise rather than teach. Whilst tuition is delivered by specialist teachers, the Principals are free to visit and observe all classes at the school.

Italia Conti Associates requires all Principals, teachers, and assistants to obtain enhanced DBS clearance. In addition, most staff are licensed chaperones.

The Principals have direct contact with Italia Conti’s Designated Safeguarding Lead, where professional help, advice, and support is available whenever required.

The combination of non-teaching Principals, small class sizes, and immediate access to expert professional advice is what sets Italia Conti Associates apart from many other organisations working with children.

Linda Edwards, our Co-Principal, directs and produces our annual production.
