Our Audition Preparation Workshop provides practical, intensive training to help aspiring performers prepare for drama school and professional auditions with confidence, skill, and understanding.
Led by experienced Italia Conti tutors who regularly sit on audition panels, this workshop demystifies the audition process and provides actionable guidance on material selection, preparation, and performance.
Workshop Content
The two-day intensive covers monologue and song selection, audition technique, panel etiquette, and self-presentation. Participants will receive individual coaching on their prepared material and learn how to adapt performances for different audition contexts.
You’ll develop understanding of what audition panels look for, how to make strong first impressions, managing nerves, and presenting your best work under pressure. The workshop includes mock auditions with detailed feedback from professional tutors.

Who Should Attend
This workshop is essential for anyone preparing to audition for drama schools, conservatoires, or professional performing arts training programmes. It’s particularly valuable for those auditioning for multiple institutions and wanting to maximise their chances of success.
Participants should bring prepared audition material (monologue and/or song). The workshop provides individual feedback as well as group learning opportunities. Limited places ensure quality of coaching.
