THE STAGE SCHOLARSHIP
The Theatre Arts School in conjunction with The Stage newspaper awards a limited number of scholarships which are given at the discretion of the directors. The scholarships vary in value, ranging from a percentage of the fees up to the full cost. Scholarships may differ from pupil to pupil and are awarded based on their performance during the audition process. Scholarships are always for tuition fees only. Application for a scholarship places can be made using the Scholarship Application form.
ADDITIONAL FUNDING HELP
Many pupils have previously received help with funding in a number of ways. Some local authoritys are able to fund pupils through councils by offering an educational grant. Some pupils have been successful in securing private funding from charities, trusts and companies. We would encourage all applicants who are in need of extra funding to look into these options.
Fees are payable termly in advance and are non-refundable. Interest will be charged on overdue accounts and the directors may refuse to permit a pupil to attend classes if fees are outstanding.
In cases of hardship, special arrangements for payment of tuition fees will be considered. These arrangements must be confirmed in writing.
Notice in writing of the proposed withdrawal of a pupil prior to his/her course completion must be received at least one full term in advance. Failure to give the required notice will entail payment of the full fees due.
If any pupil is asked to leave the course, the pupil is not entitled to claim the return of any fees, or any part thereof, already paid.
Should it be necessary to close the school on account of a epidemic, national crisis, severe weather conditions or any other circumstances over which the directors have no control, fees cannot be returned nor compensation made for any period of training lost.
