Pixie Lott trained at Italia Conti before launching a highly successful career as a singer-songwriter. Her debut album, Turn It Up (2009), was certified double platinum in the UK and produced two UK number-one singles — Mama Do (Uh Oh, Uh Oh) and Boys and Girls — signalling the arrival of a genuinely exciting new voice in British pop.
She went on to achieve multiple further Top 10 singles and released her third studio album, Pixie Lott, in 2014. On stage, she starred as Holly Golightly in the West End production of Breakfast at Tiffany’s at the Theatre Royal Haymarket in 2016. From 2017 to 2023, she served as a coach on ITV’s The Voice Kids UK, inspiring a new generation of young performers — a role that felt entirely fitting for an artist with such strong roots in performance training.
Pixie’s debut album Turn It Up (2009) was certified double platinum (BPI) and reached #6 UK Albums Chart.
She achieved two UK #1 singles: ‘Mama Do (Uh Oh, Uh Oh)’ and ‘Boys and Girls’.
Pixie won an MTV Europe Music Award for Best UK & Ireland Act in 2009 and Best Push Artist at the same ceremony.
She was also nominated for British Female Solo Artist at the 2010 BRIT Awards and was a Voice Kids UK coach (2017–2023).
