Mark Ballas trained at Italia Conti before establishing an international career in dance, theatre and music. He became widely known as a professional dancer on Dancing with the Stars, winning the competition three times and earning a reputation for bold choreography and emotionally resonant storytelling.
On stage, he has performed on Broadway in the roles of Frankie Valli in Jersey Boys and Charlie Price in Kinky Boots, as well as Teen Angel in a Toronto production of Grease. In addition to his work in dance and theatre, he released his debut solo album HurtLoveBox in 2011 on Hit Play Records/Sony Red — a body of work that reflects the range and commitment of a truly versatile performer.
Mark has won Dancing with the Stars three times (Seasons 6, 8, and 31). He received a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Choreography (2011).
His broadway and stage credits include: Frankie Valli in Jersey Boys, Charlie Price in Kinky Boots (Broadway). He released his solo album HurtLoveBox in 2011.
