Lucie Shorthouse trained at Italia Conti and originated the role of Pritti Pasha in Everybody’s Talking About Jamie at Sheffield Theatres, continuing with the production through its celebrated West End run. Her performance earned her both a Laurence Olivier Award nomination for Best Actress in a Supporting Role in a Musical and a WhatsOnStage Award.
She has since appeared in television series including Bulletproof and We Are Lady Parts (Channel 4), and starred in the BBC comedy Henpocalypse! in 2023. Her work demonstrates a clear ability to move with confidence between stage and screen across a range of contemporary productions.
Lucie received a WhatsOnStage Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical for Pritti Pasha in Everybody’s Talking About Jamie.
For this role, she was nominated for a WhatsOnStage Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical (2018).
